STUDENT ENRICHMENT PROGRAM: PROGRAM THAT SENDS 100 STUDENTS FROM CRISTO REY TO A PRIVATE SCHOOL IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A BETTER EDUCATION. TWELVE STUDENTS RECEIVED SCHOLARSHIPS TO ATTEND UNIVERSITIES THROUGHOUT NICARAGUA. ALL STUDENTS ARE FURTHERING THEIR EDUCATION TO BETTER THEIR LIVES AND FUTURES. ALL SCHOLARSHIPS ARE FUNDED BY SPONSORS IN THE UNITED STATES. EXPENSES INCLUDE: TUITION, TRANSPORTATION, SCHOOL SUPPLIES, BOOKS, UNIFORMS AND DIFFERENT SCHOOL ACTIVITIES.
FEEDING PROGRAM (CHRIST THE KING'S KITCHEN): MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, WE PROVIDE NUTRITIONAL MEALS TO OVER 300 MALNOURISHED CHILDREN IN OUR FEEDING PROGRAM. THE FOOD PROVIDES A MEAL FOR THEM AND ALSO MEETS A FINANCIAL NEED AND HUNGER NEED IN CRISTO REY. ONCE A WEEK WE ALSO FEED THE WORKERS IN THE GARBAGE DUMP A NUTRITIONAL MEAL. WE ALSO PROVIDE PROVISIONAL BAGS OF FOOD TO FAMILIES IN CRISTO REY WHO ARE IN NEED. EXPENSES INCLUDE: FOOD AND SUPPLIES.
