THE HEARTLAND PET CONNECTION HAS BEEN SERVING ANIMALS OF SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA SINCE OCTOBER 2004. THIS PROJECT WAS A GRASSROTTS EFFORT THAT HAS EXCEEDED OUT INITIAL GOALS AND HAS TRAVELED DOWN A VARIETY OF AVENUES ALL DEDICATED TO SERVING THE NEEDS OF ANIMALS AND PEOPLE THROUGHOUT THIS COMMUNITY. SINCE THAT TIME, THIS NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION HAS SEEN OVER 4,000 ANIMALS AND IS NOW RECOGNIZED THROUGHOUT NEBRASKA AS THE GOLD STANDARD IN THE ANIMAL SHELTER INDUSTRY. OUR 5,000 SQUARE FOOT FACILILITY PROVIDES A SAFE HAVEN FOR LOST OR SURRENDERED PETS AND AN OPPORTUNITY FOR MANY FAMILIES TO FIND THE PERFECT FOREVER FRIEND. AT THE SHELTER, ANIMALS ARE CARED FOR WITH COMPASSION AND KINDNESS. THE WELL-BEING OF EACH ANIMAL IS A PRIORITY FOR THE STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS WHO WORK AT THE SHELTER.
