TO OPERATE FOR THE BENEFIT OF, AND TO PERFORM THE FUNCTIONS OF, THE RISING STARS ACADEMY, A MICHIGAN PUBLIC SCHOOL ACADEMY, BY RECEIVING, ADMINISTRATING AND DISTRIBUTING FUNDS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE RISING STARS ACADEMY. THE RISING STARS ACADEMY IS A PUBLIC SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS AGES 18- 26 WITH SPECIAL NEEDS PROVIDING A UNIQUE CURRICULUM, WITH AN EMPHASIS IN CULINARY ARTS AND FOOD SERVICE THAT PROMOTES EDUCATION, HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE AND PERSONAL GROWTH TO PREPARE STUDENTS FOR FUTURE GAINFUL EMPLOYMENT IN THE CULINARY ARTS AND OTHER FIELDS.
