Part 3 - Line 4a
A CONTRIBUTION TO QUESTSCOPE WHICH SERVES SYRIA AND JORDAN BY RESPONDING TO REFUGEES AND DISPLACED PEOPLE IN CRISIS. THE FUNDING WILL AID IN 2 PROJECTS: 1) A CATERING KITCHEN FOR WOMEN REFUGEES LIVING IN THE SLUMS OF AQABA, JORDAN. INCOME FROM THEIR COOKING AND CATERING WILL ASSURE THAT THESE WOMEN DO NOT HAVE TO SELL THEIR DAUGHTERS INTO EARLY MARRIAGES IN ORDER TO SUPPORT THEIR FAMILY, NOR WILL THEY HAVE TO PULL THEIR SONS OUT OF SCHOOL IN ORDER TO WORK AT ODD JOBS FOR A MERE PITTANCE. THE FUNDING WILL PROVIDE ADDITIONAL WORKSPACE FOR MORE WOMEN. 2) A PROJECT IN ZA'ATARI CAMP TO TRAIN ADDITIONAL FACILITATORS FOR THE BAREFOOT PSYCHOLOGY TRAUMA RESPONSE ALLOWING MORE PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAM.
