THE PURPOSE AND MISSION OF PARENTS FOR MUSIC EXCELLENCE, INC., IS DEDICATED TO SUPPORT AND PROMOTE EDUCATION, CONTINUED GROWTH, AND DEVELOPMENT OF MUSIC IN THE DANVERS FALCON BAND PROGRAM. TOGETHER WITH ITS MEMBERS, AND OTHER INTERESTED PARTIES, PUBLIC AND PRIVATE, COMMUNITY ENRICHMENT, FUNDRAISING, AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, THE ORGANIZATION WILL WORK TO ENCOURAGE ALL STUDENTS AND CITIZENS TO TAKE AN ACTIVE ROLE IN MUSIC EDUCATION. THE CORPORATION WILL CONDUCT SUCH OTHER ACTIVITIES AND PROGRAMS IN FURTHERANCE OF THE FOREGOING CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES AS MAY BE CARRIED OUT BY A CORPORATION ORGANIZED UNDER MASSACHUSETTS GENERAL LAWS CHAPTER 180 AND EXCLUSIVELY FOR WITHIN THE MEANING DESCRIBED IN SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE.
