THE ESF COLLEGE FOUNDATION IS A NON-PROFIT CORPORATION OF ALUMNI, COLLEGE AND COMMUNITY REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTED TO HELPING SUNY COLLEGE OF ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE AND FORESTRY, HEREIN CALLED THE "COLLEGE," ACHIEVE ITS MISSION OF EDUCATION, RESEARCH, AND PUBLIC SERVICE THROUGH ADVOCACY, RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT AND RESOURCE MANAGEMENT.

SCHOLARSHIPS, FELLOWSHIPS, AND GRANTS - PROVIDE BOTH NEED BASED AND MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS, FELLOWSHIPS, AND GRANTS TO ESF STUDENTS
INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAM SUPPORT FOR VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS. SUPPORT INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, PURCHASE OF LABORATORY EQUIPMENT AND LIBRARY RESOURCES, FACILITY RENOVATIONS, LECTURE SERIES AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT.
AMERICAN CHESTNUT TREE RESTORATION PROGRAM - THE ESF AMERICAN CHESTNUT PROJECT HAS DEVELOPED A BLIGHT-TOLERANT AMERICAN CHESTNUT TREE, AND IS WORKING TO RESTORE THIS ICONIC AND VALUABLE CULTURAL SYMBOL TO THE FOREST ECOSYSTEMS OF THE EASTERN UNITED STATES.
