THE MSC FOUNDATION WAS FORMED TO EDUCATE THE GENERAL PUBLIC ABOUT THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE MARCELLUS AND OTHER GEOLOGICAL SHALE FORMATIONS AND THE PRODUCTION OF NATURAL GAS FROM SHALE. ITS EDUCATIONAL CAMPAIGNS AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT HAVE INCLUDED AND/OR WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:- LEARN ABOUT SHALE: THE PUBLIC CAMPAIGN PROVIDED INFORMATION REGARDING THE MARCELLUS SHALE AND PRODUCTION OF NATURAL GAS FROM SHALE. ALSO THE CAMPAIGN PROVIDED A FORUM FOR THE PUBLIC TO ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT SHALE DEVELOPMENT IN RESPONSE TO EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS AVAILABLE.- EDUCATIONAL VIDEOS REGARDING SHALE ENERGY DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES AND HIGHLIGHTS.(CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE O)- SCHOLARSHIP FUNDING FOR STUDENTS STUDYING IN THE ENERGY FIELD.- FUNDED THE ECONOMIC IMPACT STUDY OF MARCELLUS SHALE DEVELOPMENT UPON WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA WHERE ACTIVITY RELATED TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE MARCELLUS SHALE IS CONCENTRATED.- FUNDED CONSERVATION TREE PLANTING, ENVIROTHON, TRAILS, AND FARM SHOW PROGRAMS.- FUNDED THANK YOU LUNCHES FOR PANDEMIC HEALTHCARE WORKERS.- FUNDING PROVIDED TO DOLLAR ENERGY FUNDS, MAKE-A-WISH PROGRAMS, HUNTERS SHARING THE HARVEST AND FOOD BANK SERVICES.
