FACILITATE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT THROUGH EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS THAT ADDRESS THE GROWING SKILLS AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT ISSUES IN TIPTON COUNTY. PARTNERED WITH REGIONAL ENTITIES TO SECURE WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT TRAINING GRANTS AND EDUCATIONAL GRANTS FOR STUDENTS TO GAIN HANDS-ON, IN-DEMAND SKILLS.
ENCOURAGE NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND BUSINESS RETAINMENT THROUGH ENHANCING AND REVITALIZING DOWNTOWN TIPTON. WORKED WITH CITY OF TIPTON AND DOWNTOWN TIPTON BUSINESS TO EXPAND OPERATIONS, REDEVELOP INFRASTRUCTURE, INCREASE LABOR FORCE, PURCHASE NEEDED EQUIPMENT, ETC IN ORDER TO EXPAND OR RETAIN OPERATIONS AND JOBS IN THE COMMUNITY.
