YOUTH PROGRAM - MENTORING AND TEACHING YOUTH POSTIVE CHRISTIAN LIFESTYLE AND VALUES. WEEKLY PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO TEACH AND REINFORCE POSITIVE LIFE CHOICES. AGE GRADED SUMMER CAMPS (CANTEMAWASTE YOUTH CAMPS) PROVIDE INTENSIVE WEEK LONG LEARNING & MENTORING PROGRAMS. DAILY PROGRAMMING THROUGH THE TOKATA YOUTH CENTER AFTER SCHOOL AND SUMMER PROGRAM, PROVIDING DAILY HEALTHY MEALS AND SNACKS, PROVIDING TUTORING AND HOMEWORK ASSISTANCE, TEACHING CHRISTIAN LIFESTYLES AND VALUES, AND DEVELOPING THE YOUTH FOR FUTURE LEADERSHIP ROLES. ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS THAT ALLOW THE YOUTH A SAFE, POSITIVE PLACE TO INTERACT WITH PEERS AND ADULTS.


COMMUNITY SUPPORT AND DEVELOPMENT - PROGRAM DESIGNED TO TEACH AND ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO DEVELOP HEALTHLY CHRISTIAN LIFESTYLES, DEVELOPING POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS, INTERPERSONAL SKILLS AND OTHER LIFE SKILLS. IT IS ALSO A GOAL TO PRESERVE THE CULTURE OF THE NATIVE PEOPLE. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH COMMUNITY MEETINGS AND SMALL GROUP MEETINGS WHERE CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES AND CHARACTER ARE TAUGHT. ALSO BY SUPPORTING COMMUNITY EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES. PROVIDE HEALTHY MEALS AT COMMUNITY EVENTS, AND SUPPORTING VARIOUS YOUTH EVENTS.


COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE - THE PROGRAM FOCUSES ON PROVIDING INDIVIDUAL ASSISTANCE TO COMMUNITY MEMBERS. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH DISTRIBUTION OF FOOD TO FAMILIES THROUGH THE FOOD PANTRY; ASSISTING INDIVIDUALS WITH WINTER HEATING ASSISTANCE; ASSISTING WITH WINTER CLOTHING AND SCHOOL SUPPLIES AND CLOTHING; AND A VARIETY OF OTHER PHYSICAL NEEDS. SPENDING TIME WITH INDIVIDUALS DURING VARIOUS LIFE SITUATIONS INCLUDING FUNERALS, WEDDINGS, BIRTHS, JOBS, ETC.
