FIRE/RESCUE OPERATIONS - THE FIRE DEPARTMENT CONSISTS OF 1 RESCUE VEHICLE, 4 GRASS UNITS, 2 TANKER TRUCKS AND 1 PUMPER TRUCK FIRE SQUAD. THESE UNITS PROVIDE SERVICES AT ALL FIRE AND ACCIDENT CALLS. RESCUE OPERATIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO HOME/BUSINESS STRUCTURE FIRES, GRASS/CROPLAND FIRES, EQUIPMENT FIRES, VEHICLE ACCIDENTS/EXTRACTIONS, AND FARM ACCIDENTS. THESE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED YEAR-ROUND TO THE RESIDENTS OF FAULKTON AND COUNTYWIDE IF ASSISTANCE IS NEEDED. FAULKTON FIRE DEPARTMENT SERVES IN A COUNTY THAT CONSISTS OF 2,300 PEOPLE AND 1,000 SQUARE MILES.
TRAINING AND COMMUNITY SERVICES - THE FAULKTON VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT IS A LARGE PART OF THE COMMUNITY.
