THE CIC BRINGS ORGANIZATION AND COHESIVENESS TO THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY BY PROVIDING A CENTRAL LOCATION FOR CONTRACTORS TO FIND OPPORTUNITIES TO BID PROJECTS. WE SAVE TIME AND EFFORT FOR ARCHITECTS, ENGINEERS, GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, ETC. BY PUBLICIZING THEIR PROJECTS TO A MUCH BROADER AUDIENCE. CIC PROVIDES A LIBRARY OF BLUEPRINTS (THAT ARE AVAILABLE TO CONTRACTORS TO BE COPIED) AND ACTS AS A CENTRAL LOCATION FOR PRIME CONTRACTORS, SUBCONTRACTORS, MATERIAL SUPPLIERS, ETC. TO CONNECT TO PROVIDE FOR OPTIMAL COMPETITIVE PRICING ON A GIVEN CONSTRUCTION PROJECT. THIS BENEFITS THE INDUSTRY AND THE PUBLIC BY CONSTRUCTING BETTER BUILDINGS FOR LESS MONEY.
CIC PROVIDES INFORMATION ON COMPETITIVE BIDDING OPPORTUNITIES. THE OGLALA SIOUX TRIBE TERO OFFICE MAKES USE OF THE PUBLICATION TO MONITOR CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS ON THE RESERVATION FOR PROPER EMPLOYMENT PRACTICES.
RECOGNIZING THE NEED FOR A CONTINUED STRONG WORKFORCE IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY, CIC COMMITS UP TO $6,000/YEAR IN SCHOLARSHIP MONIES TO ASSIST AND ENCOURAGE YOUNG PEOPLE IN OUR COMMUNITIES WHO HAVE CHOSEN TO STUDY A FIELD IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY.
