SEMINAR AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS GEARED TOWARD IMPROVING MEMBER'S SKILLS AND PRACTICES. THERE WERE 6 SEMINARS WITH 458 IN ATTENDANCE. IN ADDITION, THERE WERE TWO JOINT ACEC/MN - MNDOT ONLINE EVENTS WITH OVER 150+ IN ATTENDANCE, A CLIENT FORECASTING SEMINAR WITH 60 IN ATTENDANCE, THE ONLINE MINNESOTA'S TRANSPORTATION CONFERENCE WITH OVER 1,100 IN ATTENDANCE, AND A SERIES OF 2 WOMEN IN ENGINEERING PRESENTATIONS WITH 150+ IN ATTENDANCE.
LEGISLATIVE AND LOBBYING EFFORT PROVIDES MEMBERS WITH TIMELY INFORMATION ON LEGISLATIVE ACTIVITIES AND ITS EFFECT ON THEIR BUSINESSES. LEGISLATION IS TRACKED BY STAFF AND LOBBYING SERVICE. MEMBERS ARE INFORMED OF LEGISLATIVE AND AGENCY PLANS. ALL MEMBERS BENEFIT FROM THIS ACTIVITY.
