SEMINAR AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS GEARED TOWARD IMPROVING MEMBER'S SKILLS AND PRACTICES. THERE WERE 6 SEMINARS WITH 458 IN ATTENDANCE. IN ADDITION, THERE WERE TWO JOINT ACEC/MN - MNDOT ONLINE EVENTS WITH OVER 150+ IN ATTENDANCE, A CLIENT FORECASTING SEMINAR WITH 60 IN ATTENDANCE, THE ONLINE MINNESOTA'S TRANSPORTATION CONFERENCE WITH OVER 1,100 IN ATTENDANCE, AND A SERIES OF 2 WOMEN IN ENGINEERING PRESENTATIONS WITH 150+ IN ATTENDANCE.


LEGISLATIVE AND LOBBYING EFFORT PROVIDES MEMBERS WITH TIMELY INFORMATION ON LEGISLATIVE ACTIVITIES AND ITS EFFECT ON THEIR BUSINESSES. LEGISLATION IS TRACKED BY STAFF AND LOBBYING SERVICE. MEMBERS ARE INFORMED OF LEGISLATIVE AND AGENCY PLANS. ALL MEMBERS BENEFIT FROM THIS ACTIVITY.


ENGINEERING EXCELLENCE AWARDS PROGRAM RECOGNIZES THE ACHIEVEMENTS OF CONSULTING ENGINEERS. PROJECTS ARE ENTERED IN A COMPETITION AND AWARDS ARE PRESENTED AT A BANQUET. PROJECTS ARE PUBLICIZED IN LOCAL AND REGIONAL MEDIA. THERE WERE 31 PROJECTS ENTERED FROM 18 FIRMS. THERE WERE 300+ IN ATTENDANCE AT THE ONLINE GALA.
