SEMINAR AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS GEARED TOWARD IMPROVING MEMBER'S SKILLS AND PRACTICES: THERE WERE 24 EVENTS AND SEMINARS WITH 1,476 IN ATTENDANCE. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION HOSTED THE MINNESOTA TRANSPORTATION CONFERENCE AND EXPO ATTENDED BY MORE THAN 1,300 ATTENDEES. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO HOSTED THREE VIRTUAL MEETINGS WITH THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION ATTENDED BY APPROXIMATELY 300 PARTICIPANTS.
LEGISLATIVE AND LOBBYING EFFORT PROVIDES MEMBERS WITH TIMELY INFORMATION ON LEGISLATIVE ACTIVITIES AND ITS EFFECT ON THEIR BUSINESSES. LEGISLATION IS TRACKED BY STAFF AND LOBBYING SERVICE. MEMBERS ARE INFORMED OF LEGISLATIVE AND AGENCY PLANS. ALL MEMBERS BENEFIT FROM THIS ACTIVITY.
ENGINEERING EXCELLENCE AWARDS PROGRAM RECOGNIZES THE ACHIEVEMENTS OF CONSULTING ENGINEERS. PROJECTS ARE ENTERED IN A COMPETITION AND AWARDS ARE PRESENTED AT A BANQUET.
