THE PURPOSE OF THIS ORGANIZATION IS FRATERNAL, PATRIOTIC, HISTORICAL, CHARITABLE, AND EDUCATIONAL; TO PRESERVE AND STRENGTHEN COMRADESHIP AMONG ITS MEMBERS; TO ASSIST WORTHY COMRADES; TO PERPETUATE THE MEMORY AND HISTORY OF THEIR DEAD; AND TO ASSIST THEIR WIDOWS AND ORPHANS; TO MAINTAIN TRUE ALLEGIANCE TO THE GOVERMENT AND FIDELITY TO ITS CONSTITUTION AND LAWS; TO FOSTER TRUE PATRIOTISM; TO MAINTAIN AND EXTEND THE INSTITUTIONS OF AMERICAN FREEDOM AND TO PRESERVE AND DEFEND THE UNITED STATES FROM HER ENEMIES.

THE ORGANIZATION OFFERS MEALS & BEVERAGE SERVICES & FACILITY RENTALS TO ITS MEMBERS AND GUESTS TO GENERATE FUNDS TO REINVEST IN ITS COMMUNITY AND TO FUND ITS CHARITABLE PURPOSE. MEMBERS PROVIDED TRANSPORT FOR VETERANS TO THE SIOUX FALLS MEDICAL FACILITY. MEMBERS PROVIDED BINGO CALLERS TO THE GOLDEN LIVING SENIOR ASSISTED LIVING FACILITY. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED FUNDS TO THE VFW NATIONAL DISASTER RELIEF FUND. THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUES TO DESIGN AND BUILD A VETERANS HONOR PARK.
