THE VFW CLAIMS SERVICE OFFICE ASSISTS HONORABLY DISCHARGED VETERANS FREE OF CHARGE. THIS SERVICE HELPS VETERANS SEEKING BENEFITS AND ENTITLEMENTS FROM THE VA. THE VFW CLAIMS OFFICE OFFERS REPRESENTATION OF THESE VETERANS BEFORE THE BOARD OF APPEALS AND OTHER VA PANELS THAT DETERMINE VETERANS DISABILITY CLAIMS.
THE VFW VA HOSPITAL AND SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS ALLOW VA MEDICAL CENTER VETERANS HOME PATIENTS/RESIDENTS CERTAIN RECREATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES.
VFW YOUTH PROGRAMS ALLOW MINNESOTA'S YOUTH TO DEVELOP LIFE SKILLS IN AREAS OF SPEECH, WRITING, AND SPORTS. THIS IS DONE THROUGH SCHOLARSHIPS AND COMPETITIVE PARTICIPATION IN VARIOUS EVENTS.
