Part 3 - Line 4a
CODE: POS3. AIBRT RESEARCHERS CONTINUED TO CONDUCT EXPERIMENTS ON NEW METHODS THAT CAN BE USED BY ONLINE TECH COMPANIES TO MANIPULATE PEOPLE'S OPINIONS, VOTES, AND PURCHASES WITHOUT THEIR KNOWLEDGE. THEY CONTINUED THEIR RESEARCH ON THE SEARCH ENGINE MANIPULATION EFFECT (SEME) AND SIMILAR MEANS OF ONLINE MANIPULATIONS, SUCH AS THE YOUTUBE MANIPULATION EFFECT (YME). TO DETERMINE WHETHER EFFECTS LIKE THESE ARE ACTUALLY BEING USED BY TECHNOLOGY COMPANIES TO INFLUENCE VOTES AND OPINIONS, THEY BUILT A LARGER AND MORE SOPHISTICATED VERSION OF THE ELECTION MONITORING SYSTEMS THEY DEPLOYED IN 2016 AND 2018 TO CAPTURE POLITICALLY-ORIENTED EPHEMERAL CONTENT THAT TECH COMPANIES WERE SHOWING PEOPLE IN THE DAYS LEADING UP TO THE 2016 AND 2018 ELECTIONS. IN 2020, THEY PRESERVED MORE THAN 500,000 EPHEMERAL EXPERIENCES ON GOOGLE, BING, YAHOO, YOUTUBE, AND FACEBOOK IN THE DAYS LEADING UP TO THE 2020 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION, AND THEY PRESERVED MORE THAN A MILLION SUCH EXPERIENCES IN THE DAYS LEADING UP TO THE JANUARY 2021 SENATE ELECTIONS IN GEORGIA. THEY FOUND SIGNIFICANT BIAS ON GOOGLE IN 2020, AND ALSO DISCOVERED THAT GOOGLE WAS BIASING VOTE REMINDERS TOWARD MEMBERS OF ONE PARTY. WHEN AIBRT WENT PUBLIC WITH ITS FINDINGS, GOOGLE BACKED DOWN ON BOTH VOTE MANIPULATIONS. AIBRT CONTINUES TO ANALYZE THE WEALTH OF DATA IT COLLECTED AND, TO PROTECT FUTURE ELECTIONS, IS PLANNING TO BUILD LARGE-SCALE PERMANENT MONITORING SYSTEMS IN ALL 50 US STATES.
CODE: CSP. WHEN THE NOVEL CORONAVIRUS (SARS-COV-2) BEGAN TO SPREAD IN EARLY 2020, AIBRT RESEARCHERS DEVELOPED A BEHAVIORAL INTERVENTION CALLED THE CARRIER SEPARATION PLAN (CSP) THAT HAD (AND STILL HAS) THE POTENTIAL TO QUICKLY STOP THE SPREAD OF THE VIRUS WHILE ALSO ALLOWING FOR THE RAPID REOPENING OF SCHOOLS AND BUSINESSES WITHOUT THE NEED FOR MASKS OR SOCIAL DISTANCING. CSP CAN ALSO BE USED IN THE FUTURE TO STOP OTHER NEW PATHOGENS FROM SPREADING. AIBRT RESEARCHERS PUBLISHED SEVEN ARTICLES ABOUT CSP IN 2020 AND SUBMITTED A MATHEMATICAL MODEL OF THE PLAN IN DECEMBER 2020 (PUBLISHED IN MARCH 2021 IN THE PEER-REVIEWED SCIENTIFIC JOURNAL FRONTIERS IN PUBLIC HEALTH). WITH PATHOGENS SUCH AS SARS-COV-2 THAT CAN BE KILLED BY OUR IMMUNE SYSTEMS, CSP ALSO HAS THE POTENTIAL TO RAPIDLY ERADICATE SUCH PATHOGENS FROM THE POPULATION WITHOUT THE NEED FOR VACCINES. AIBRT STAFF ALSO COLLECTED POTENTIAL TO RAPIDLY ERADICATE SUCH PATHOGENS FROM THE POPULATION WITHOUT THE NEED FOR VACCINES. AIBRT STAFF ALSO COLLECTED SARS-COV-2. THE ANALYSIS WAS PRESENTED AT TWO SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCES. AIBRT RESEARCHERS ARE NOW WORKING TO WITH RESEARCHERS IN CANADA AND NEW YORK TO PLAN A CLINICAL TRIAL OF CSP IN A REMOTE TOWN.
CODE: TESTS. DATA COLLECTION FROM 19 ONLINE PSYCHOLOGICAL TESTS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE TO THE PUBLIC IN AREAS SUCH AS PARENTING, STRESS-MANAGEMENT, ADULT COMPETENCE, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RESILIENCE, RELATIONSHIP SKILLS, AND OTHER AREAS. SOME ARE AVAILABLE IN MULTIPLE LANGUAGES, INCLUDING SPANISH, GERMAN, CHINESE, JAPANESE, AND OTHERS. PEOPLE CAN TAKE THE TESTS ANONYMOUSLY, AND BECAUSE THEY ANSWER VARIOUS DEMOGRAPHIC AND CRITERION QUESTIONS BEFORE TAKING THE TEST ITSELF, WE CAN ANALYZE TEST PERFORMANCES BOTH DEMOGRAPHICALLY AND ACCORDING TO HOW WELL TEST SCORES PREDICT VARIOUS SELF-REPORTED OUTCOMES SUCH AS HAPPINESS, PERSONAL SUCCESS, AND PROFESSIONAL SUCCESS. DATA COLLECTION, STATISTICAL ANALYSIS, CONFERENCE SUBMISSIONS AND PRESENTATION, SCIENTIFIC JOURNAL SUBMISSIONS, AND NEW TRANSLATIONS ARE IN PROGRESS FOR EXISTING TESTS. NEW TESTS ARE ALSO BEING DEVELOPED.
