THE POWER SHIFT NETWORK MOBILIZES THE COLLECTIVE POWER OF YOUNG PEOPLE TO MITIGATE CLIMATE CHANGE AND CREATE A JUST, CLEAN ENERGY FUTURE AND RESILIENT, THRIVING COMMUNITIES FOR ALL.

POWER SHIFT NETWORK IS A NATIONAL NETWORK OF CLIMATE AND ENVIRONMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS THAT FOCUSES ON MITIGATING THE CLIMATE CRISIS AND THROUGH THE COLLECTIVE POWER OF YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH CAMPAIGNS, SUPPORTING YOUTH-LED ORGANIZATIONS, AND TRAINING AND CONVENING YOUNG PEOPLE. IN FY21 WE PUSHED BACK AGAINST PROPOSED PROJECTS TO EXPAND THE USE OF FOSSIL FUELS, COORDINATED AND FACILITATED TRAININGS FOR YOUTH CLIMATE ACTIVISTS AND CONTINUED TO FISCALLY SPONSOR AND MENTOR YOUTH CLIMATE LEADERS, ESPECIALLY THOSE FROM BIPOC AND OTHER MARGINALIZED IDENTITIES. WE ALSO HELD A NATIONAL CONVENING FOR YOUTH ACTIVISTS TO BUILD SKILLS ON ORGANIZING AND CAMPAIGNING FOR CLIMATE JUSTICE.
