WORTHWHILE WEAR EXISTS TO REACH AND RESTORE WOMEN THAT HAVE BEEN AFFECTED BY HUMAN TRAFFICKING, BOTH LABOR AND SEX TRAFFICKING, BY PROVIDING THEM WITH COMPREHENSIVE CARE, WHICH INCLUDES HOUSING, EMPLOYMENT, COUNSELING, AND VARIOUS OTHER SERVICES. THIS HOLISTIC CARE APPROACH PRESENTS THE WOMEN WITH THE BEST OPPORTUNITY TO HEAL FROM THE SIGNIFICANT TRAUMA THAT THEY HAVE EXPERIENCED.

THE ORGANIZATION SELLS MERCHANDISE PRODUCED FROM ITS OVERSEAS VOCATIONAL TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT CONTRACTS AS WELL AS ITEMS CRAFTED BY PARTICIPANTS IN ORGANIZATIONS THAT HAVE A SIMILAR MISSION. THEY ALSO COLLECT DONATED CLOTHING AND HOUSEHOLD GOODS. THE GOODS ARE SOLD THROUGH THE ORGANIZATION'S THRIFT STORES LOCATED IN BUCKS AND MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA. THE THRIFT STORES ARE OPERATED TO SUPPORT THE ORGANIZATION'S PROGRAMS. ADDITIONALLY, WORTHWHILE WEAR IS ABLE TO OFFER EMPLOYMENT TO WOMEN ENROLLED IN THE WELL HOUSING PROGRAM BY EMPLOYING THEM IN THE THRIFT STORE. WORTHWHILE WEAR OPENED UP A SECOND THRIFT STORE LOCATION IN 2022 IN COLLEGEVILLE, PA.
THE WELL IS A HOME LOCATED IN BUCKS COUNTY ESTABLISHED TO PROVIDE HOUSING TO ASSIST TRAFFICKING SURVIVORS, BOTH SEX AND LABOR TRAFFICKING, TO COPE WITH THEIR PAST AND PREPARE FOR THEIR FUTURE THROUGH EDUCATION, EMPLOYMENT, AND HOUSING ASSISTANCE. THE PROGRAM PROVIDES HOUSING FOR UP TO TWO YEARS AT NO COST TO THE RECIPIENT.THE WELL PROGRAM EXPANDED IN 2022 BY OPENING UP MELENY'S HOUSE WHICH PROVIDES APARTMENT STYLE LIVING TO WOMEN IN THE LEADERSHIP PHASE OF THE WELL PROGRAM.
WORTH-IT IS ANOTHER PROGRAM FOR SURVIVORS OF SEXUAL EXPLOITATION. IT IS DESIGNED TO CONNECT PARTICIPANTS TO AREA SERVICE PROVIDORS THAT CAN MEET THEIR SPECIALIZED NEEDS AND EDUCATE THEM ABOUT THE LEGAL ISSUES PERTAINING TO THEIR SITUATIONS. WORTH-IT RUNS IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS AND IS OFFERED AS A MULTI-WEEK PROGRAM SEVERAL TIMES EACH YEAR. WOMEN WHO COMPLETE THE WORTH-IT PROGRAM ALSO HAVE THE OOPRTUNITY TO APPLY TO THE WELL HOUSING PROGRAM.
