THE FOUNDATION WAS CREATED TO CHANGE AN AREA IN THE CITY OF HIGH POINT WITH SEVERE INDUSTRIAL DECLINE. THE GOAL IS TO RENEW THE CITY TO A PLACE OF BEAUTY, ENCOURAGE ECONOMIC GROWTH, CLEAN UP PUBLIC GREEN SPACES AND CREATE A BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE FOR ITS RESIDENTS.

ECONOMIC AND INNER CITY REVITALIZATION IS THE FOCUS OF THE FOUNDATION. A GREENWAY STUDY IS BEING CONDUCTED TO INCREASE PUBLIC GREEN SPACE IN THE CITY. PUBLIC ART PROJECTS ARE BEING INSTALLED TO PROMOTE THE ARTS. HISTORIC PRESERVATION IS PROMOTING DOWNTOWN RESIDENCES, OFFICES AND WORK SPACE.
