Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

Part 3 - Line 4a

FUNDRAISING - INCLUDES A GOLF TOURNAMENT, VETERANS DAY AND MEMORIAL DAY EVENTS, THE BLUE JEAN BALL, AND NUMEROUS OUTREACH OPPORTUNITIES THROUGHOUT THE COMMUNITY AS WE TAG ONTO THEIR EVENTS. WE TAKE ANY AND ALL OPPORTUNITES TO GET OUR NAME OUT IN FRONT OF THE WESTERN SLOPE COMMUNITY.

PROGRAMS - INCLUDE WEEKLY COFFEE EVENTS, SPOUSES GROUP THERAPY SESSIONS, SPOUSES LUNCHEONS, AND A SAFE PLACE TO GATHER FOR SOCIAL EVENTS. VETERANS DROP BY TO DO PUZZLES, TALK TO OTHER VETERANS, AND GET HELP WITH MAKING SURE THAT THEY HAVE ACCESS TO ALL BENEFITS AFFORD TO THEM. THE BUILDING, PURCHASED IN 2018, HAS BEEN A CENTRAL HUB FOR ALL VETERANS TO GET ACCESS TO ANY HELP THAT THEY CAN'T ACCESS THEMSELVES. THE PROGRAMS IMPLIMENTED ARE A CENTRAL PART OF THIS OUTREACH PROCESS. THIS ALSO PREVENTS ISOLATION.

FREEDOM SINGS USA COLORADO - THIS PROGRAM INVOLVED THE USE OF MUSIC AS THERAPY FOR PTSD AND OTHER ISSUES. THIS ALSO INVOLVED A GOLF FUNDRAISER. BOTH OF THESE INVOLVED THE COMMUNITY SO THAT EVERYONE IS REMINDED THAT VETS ARE NOT FORGOTTEN. THE COMMUNITY REALLY WANTS TO HELP THE VETERANS BUT DON'T ALWAYS HAVE A LOCAL FINACIAL AVENUE TO HELP WITH THEIR ISSUES. THE VETERANS CENTER GIVES THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE AN AVENUE TO DONATE THAT HELPS THE LOCAL VETERAN POPULATION. EVERYONE BENEFITS.
