BUSINESS CONSULTING SERVICES: SWITCHBOARD VENTURES PROVIDED CONSULTING SERVICES IN DIFFERENT AREAS OF BUSINESS FORMATION AND OPERATION FOR ORGANIZATIONS AND OR INDIVIDUALS LOOKING TO START BUSINESSES THAT BENEFIT THE POOR DISTRESSED AND UNDERPRIVILEGED IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES AROUND THE WORLD. SWITCHBOARD VENTURES PROVIDED CONSULTING ACTIVITIES THAT SERVE TO PROVIDE BUSINESS ACUMEN TO ENTREPRENEURS LOOKING TO START BUSINESSES IN DEVELOPING NATIONS OR EXISTING BUSINESSES LOOKING FOR STRATEGIC DIRECTION IN A CERTAIN BUSINESS DISCIPLINE SUCH AS MARKETING BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ACCOUNTING FINANCE ETC. CAPITAL INVESTMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE TO AROUND 40 DIFFERENT ORGANIZATIONS OR INDIVIDUALS LIVING IN BURMA PAKISTAN TURKEY ETC. THESE ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS WOULD NOT OTHERWISE BE ABLE TO OBTAIN FUNDS BECAUSE OF THE FINANCIAL RISKS INVOLVED IN ESTABLISHING AND OPERATING ENTERPRISES IN THESE COMMUNITIES OR BECAUSE OF THEIR MEMBERSHIP IN MINORITY OR OTHER DISADVANTAGED GROUPS. BY PROVIDING CAPITAL WE HOPE TO EITHER HELP STRUGGLING SMALL BUSINESSES OR HELP CREATE NEW ONES. THE CREATION OF JOBS AND THE PROVISION OF BASIC GOODS AND SERVICES FOR STRUGGLING COMMUNITIES VILLAGES GROUPS THROUGH BUSINESS CAN REJUVENATE AREAS AND PROVIDE MULTIPLE INDIVIDUALS WITH BOTH SUPPORT AND DIGNITY.
