BOTH SCHOOLS HAVE CONSISTENTLY EARNED THE TOP ACADEMIC RATINGS POSSIBLE FROM THE ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION. FOUNDED IN 1995, VALLEY ACADEMY HAS BEEN NOMINATED AS A NATIONAL 2014 BLUE RIBBON SCHOOL. OTHER AWARDS HAVE BEEN BESTOWED BY THE ARIZONA CHARTER SCHOOLS ASSOCIATION, INCLUDING 2011 CHARTER SCHOOL OF THE YEAR; 2010 BUSINESS LEADERSHIP OF THE YEAR; AND 2008 CHARTER SCHOOL TEACHER OF THE YEAR. BOTH SCHOOLS HAVE CONSISTENTLY EARNED THE TOP ACADEMIC RATINGS POSSIBLE FROM THE ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION EACH AND EVERY YEAR OF OPERATION. FOUNDED IN 1995, RTS VALLEY ACADEMY WAS NAMED A 2014 NATIONAL BLUE RIBBON SCHOOL BY THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION FOR CONTINUOUS ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE. RTS PAINTED ROCK ACADEMY WAS NAMED ARIZONA 2017 CHARTER SCHOOL OF THE YEAR, AND RTS VALLEY ACADEMY WAS NAMED 2011 CHARTER SCHOOL OF THE YEAR. THE ARIZONA CHARTER SCHOOLS ASSOCIATION ALSO BESTOWED AWARDS TO RTS VALLEY ACADEMY STAFF OF 2010 BUSINESS LEADERSHIP OF THE YEAR AND 2008 CHARTER SCHOOL TEACHER OF THE YEAR.
