THE MISSION OF UNCLE DAVE'S HOUSING IS TO PROVIDE QUALITY, SAFE, AND AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR MEN IN NEED, WITH SUPPORT AND OPPORTUNITIES TO HELP THEM ESTABLISH A SOLID FOUNDATION FOR THEIR SECOND CHANCE IN LIFE AND ENABLE THEM TO MAKE PURPOSEFUL LIVES.

Part 3 - Line 4a

PROVIDE SAFE,AFFORDABLE HOUSING AND SOCIAL SERVICES FOR THOSE NEEDING HOUSING AND SEEKING TRANSITION BACK INTO SOCIETY AND PERMANENT HOUSING. IN 2023, UNCLE DAVE'S HOUSING OPERATED 14 HOUSES IN 7 LOCATIONS. SUPPORT SERVICES SUCH AS CASE MANAGEMENT AND CONNECTION TO RESOURCES OFFERED BY COMMUNITY PARTNERS ARE OFFERED TO 200 MEN AT A TIME. WHILE THE FOCUS REMAINS ON ASSISTING THOSE NEEDING HOUSING WHO WOULD OTHERWISE BE HOMELESS, THERE IS AN EMPHASIS ON MEN COMING OUT OF THE JUSTICE SYSTEM, HOSPITALS, TREATMENT CENTERS, OTHER AGENCIES, OR THE STREETS. APPROXIMATELY 95% OF THE MEN WHO LIVE AT UNCLE DAVE'S HOUSING WERE PREVIOUSLY HOMELESS.
