BOH STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM: (BSSP)PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIPS FOR CHILDREN IN UGANDA TO GO TO SCHOOL. IN 2021, THE PROGRAM ALSO PROVIDED THESE STUDENTS WITH SUPPORT DURING THE PANDEMIC. THERE WERE 22 STUDENTS IN THIS PROGRAM IN 2021.
THE BEADS PROJECT PROGRAM:APPROXIMATELY 50 WOMEN IN UGANDA ARE INVOLVED WITH THIS JEWELRY & CRAFT MAKING PROGRAM IN UGANDA, AFRICA, WHICH PROVIDES THEM WITH A SOURCE OF INCOME TO SUPPORT THEIR FAMILIES. THE ORGANIZATION USES THE NET INCOME FOR THE BEADS PROJECT EXPENSES AND THE OTHER PROGRAMS IN UGANDA.
AGRICULTURE PROGRAM:PROVIDES WOMEN IN UGANDA WITH TRAINING AND MENTORSHIP TO LEARN IMPROVED FARMING METHODS. THE WOMEN ALSO LEARN HOW TO RAISE FARM ANIMALS. THERE WERE APPROXIMATELY 83 FAMILIES WHO HAD ACCESS TO THIS PROGRAM AND ABOUT 60 ACTIVELY PARTICIPATED IN 2021.
