OVER THE COURSE OF THE 2019-20 SCHOOL YEAR, THE TALKING TEACHING FOUNDATION (TTF) PROVIDED SERVICES TO FOUR SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SCHOOL DISTRICTS COMPRISED OF 85 SCHOOLS. BUILT ON THE WORK OF PREVIOUS YEARS, OVER 400 TEACHERS-LEADERS WERE TRAINED AND SUBSEQUENTLY LED TRAINING FOR ALL TEACHERS IN THE DISTRICTS. THIS TRAINING INCLUDED TEACHING METHOES AND APPROACHES THAT MEET THE CHALLENGE OF THE NEW COMMON CORE STANDARDS FOR ENGLISH LANGUAGE ARTS, MATHEMATICS, AND THE NEXT GENERATION SCIENCE STANDARDS. DURING PRIOR YEARS, THE TTF HAS WORKED WITH TEACHER-LEADERS FROM ALL FOUR DISTRICTS IN ORDER TO, AMONG OTHER THINGS,: 1) SUPPORT IMPLEMENTATION OF NEWLY ADOPTED MATH CURRICULA, 2) REVIEW, SELECT, AND PURCHASE COMMERCIAL CURRICULUM FOR ENGLISH LANGAUGE ARTS, AND 3) ANALYZE IN-DEPTH PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENTS: THE RESULTS OF THE CAASPP ASSESSMENTS TO ENSURE STUDENT PROGRESS TOWARD MEETING THE GOALS OF THE NEW STANDARDS IN ALL AREAS.
