DURING 2023 THE JERRY LOYOLA FOUNDATION EXPANDED ITS ACTIVITIES INTO MORE PERSONAL CONTACT WITH PATIENTS FIGHTING CANCER. THE FOUNDATION ASSISTED 69 PATIENTS VIA CONTACT WITH PALO ALTO MEDICAL FOUNDATION, KATZ CANCER RESOURCE CENTER, DOMINICAN HOSPITAL HOME HEALTH CARE AND ENTRE NOSOTROS WOMENS SUPPORT GROUP. THE TOTAL DIRECT AMOUNT OF ASSISTANCE WAS $44,000.14. THIS IS THE MOST THE FOUNDATION HAS EVER GIVEN OUT. THE $44,000 WAS IN THE FORM OF $3,249 IN FOOD CARDS, $885 IN GAS CARDS, $20,795 IN RENT ASSISTANCE, $14,100 IN QUALITY OF LIFE ASSISTANCE, $2,095 IN UTILITY PAYMENTS, $395 IN JUNIOR GOLF SUPPORT AND $756 IN TRANSPORTATION FEES.
