THE ART GARDEN HOSTED A LARGE SCALE, PUBLIC, WINTER OUTDOOR ART EVENT WHERE REGIONAL ARTISTS CREATED ART INSTALLATIONS IN HISTORIC RAILYARD. WE PAID LOCAL ARTISTS T CREATE TEMPORARY PUBLIC ARTWORKS AROUND OUR VILLAGE IN THE WINTER AND SPRING. WE CONDUCTED AN AFTERSCHOOL ART PORGRAM FOR TEENS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR WHICH INCLUDED A REGIONAL TEEN EXHIBIT AND PAID WORK OPPORTUNITIES FOR RURUAL YOUTH. WE CONDUCTED SUMMER ART PROGRAMMING FOR CHILDREN, AND A YOUTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAM WHERE TEENS CREATED ARTWORKS ABUT ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES TO DISTRIBUTE TO LOCAL LIBRARIES. WE FACILITATED A HUGE COMMUNITY ART-MAKING AREA WITH MULTIPLE FREE ART ACTIVITIES AT A NATIONALLLY RECOGNIZED LOCAL MUSIC FESTIVAL, SERVING OVER A THOUSAND PEOPLE OF ALL AGES. WE SUPPORTED OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY WITH FREE COMMUNITY ART WORKSHOPS CONNECTED TO A REGIONAL EVENT.
