THE TRUST IS ORGANZIED FOR CHARITABLE, AND CIVIC PURPOSES, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE. THE TRUST IS ORGANZIED TO BE THE CHARITABE FUND RAISING ARM OF THE SOMERVILLE ELKS LODGE. THE CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES PROVIDE SUPPORT AND SUBSIDY TO THE HANDICAPPED CHILDREN'S PROGRAM AT THE ELK'S FACILITIES, WHICH PROVIDE TREATMENTS FOR CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS, AND TO VARIOUS FAMILIES AND INSIVIDUALS DEALING WITH CHILDREN OR LOVED ONES WITH SEVERE HANDICAPS OR MEDICAL ISSUES.
