THE ASSOCIATION MAINTAINS THE WATER SUPPLY AND PROVIDES WATER TO ITS SHAREHOLDERS. WATER SERVICE FEES ARE CHARGED TO SHAREHOLDERS BASED ON WATER USAGE. THE ASSOCIATION RECEIVED CALIFORNIA STATE GRANT MONIES TO FUND A FEASIBILITY STUDY, WHICH INCLUDES ENGINEERING DESIGN, TO RESOLVE WATER QUALITY ISSUES. IN 2015 THE ASSOCIATION RECEIVED A USE PERMIT AND COASTAL PERMIT FOR A NEW WELL SITE AND RELATED WATER-UTILITY INFRASTRUCTURE ON PORTIONS OF FIVE PARCELS TO SERVE EXISTING CONNECTIONS OF THE VALLEY FORD COMMUNITY WATER SYSTEM.
