IN FY22, TEEN SUCCESS PROGRAM TRANSFORMED THE LIVES OF YOUNG MOTHERS AND THEIR CHILDREN ACCROSS CALIFORNIA THROUGH A COMBINATION OF EDUCATION, NAVIGATION, BROKERING RESOURCES, PEER SUPPORT, PARENT EDUCATION, SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING, EDUCATIONAL STIPENDS AND DIRECT ASSISTANCE STIPENDS. THEY SUPPORT YOUNG MOTHERS IN COMPLETING HIGH SCHOOL AND PURSUING POST SECONDARY EDUCATION. 87%OF YOUNG MOTHERS HAVE GRADUATED FROM HIGH SCHOOL OR ON TRACK TO DO SO AND 53% ARE PURSUING A POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION (NATIONALLY ONLY 2% OF YOUNG MOTHERS ACHIEVE A COLLEGE DEGREE BY AGE 30). THEY ALSO SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF SKILLS AND CONFIDENCE NEEDED TO NURTURE THEIR CHILD'S POSITIVE DEVELOPMENT. WITH THESE SUPPORTS WE ARE CREATING ECONOMIC ADVANCEMENT FOR TWO GENERATOIONS.
