GUYANAMONTHLY FOOD HAMPER PROJECT IN GUYANA 150 FOOD HAMPERS DISTRIBUTED ON THE EAST BANK OF DEMERARA. ITEMS INCLUDED CEREAL, MILK, RICE, FLOUR, SUGAR, OIL, BREAD, BUTTER, PORRIDGE, CANNED BEANS AND VEGTABLES TO IMPOVERISHED FAMILES. EAST BANK OF DEMERARA. IN AUGUST 2021, ICO HOSTED A ONE WEEK STEM SUMMER CAMP IN GUYANA WHICH SERVED 250 CHILDREN IN THE VILLAGE OF CRAIG AND PROVIDED HYGIENE KITS TO 250 CHILDREN, IN ADDITION ASSISTED JOSHUAS HOUSE CHILDRENS HOME BY PROVIDING HYGIENE PRODUCTS AND FOOD SUPPLIES FOR 40 BOYS AND GIRLS LIVING AT THE ORPHANGE.
HAITIAN HURRICAN RELIEFDISTRIBUTED 500 FOOD HAMPERS TO THE COMMUNITY AND 120 HAMPERS FILLED WITH HYGIENE PRODUCTS.
SOUTH FLORIDAICO HOSTED 10 STUDENT FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF CENTRAL FLORIDA IN JANUARY 2021. THE VOLUNTEERS CONDUCTED STEM ACTIVITIES WITH THE CHILDREN FOR THE WEEK. BEAUTFIED THE PLAYGROUND AND COMMUNITY GARDEN. THEY ORGANIZED SELF EMPOWERMENT WORKSHOPS WITH ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN AND CONDUCTED STEM ACTIVITIES WITH OVER 150 CHILDREN. ON THE LAST DAY OF SERVICE WE HAD A FUNDAY WITH OVER 150 CHILDREN WHERE WE SERVED FOOD, ICE CREAM AND DISTRIBUTED HYGIENE BAGS TO THE STUDENTS.
