GUYANA MONTHLY FOOD HAMPER PROJECT IN GUYANA 150 FOOD HAMPERS DISTRIBUTED ON THE EAST BANK OF DEMERARA. ITEMS INCLUDED CEREAL, MILK, RICE, FLOUR, SUGAR, OIL, BREAD, BUTTER, PORRIDGE, CANNED BEANS AND VEGTABLES TO IMPOVERISHED FAMILES.


ILLINOIS STATE UNIVERSITY - ALTERNATIVE BREAKS, SOUTH FLORIDA IOC HOSTED 13 STUDENTS FROM THE ILLINOIS STATE UNIVERSITY IN MARCH 2022. THE VOLUNTEERS CONDUCTRED STEM ACTIVITIES WITH THE CHILDREN FOR THE WEEK AND BEAUTIFIED A PLAYGROUND. THEY ORGANIZED SELFEMPOWERMENT WORKSHOPS WITH ELEMENTARY CHHOOL AGE CHILDREN AND CONDUCTED STEAM ACTIVITIES WITH 106 CHILDREN. ON THE LAST DAY OF SERVICE WE HAD A FUNDAY WHERE WE SERVED FOOD, ICE CREAM AND DISTRIBUTED HYGIENE BAGS TO THE STUDENTS.


GUYANA - SCIENCE , TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, ARTS MATHEMATICS STEAM CAMPS IN APRIL 2022, ICO HOSTED A ONE WEEK STEAM CAMP DURING SPRING BREAK WHICH SERVED 125 CHILDREN IN THE VILLAGE OF CRAIG. IN AUGUST 2022, ICO HOSTED A TWO WEEK STEAM SUMMER CAMP WHICH SERVED 205 CHILDREN IN THE VILLAGE OF CRAIG AND PROVIDED HYGIENE KITS TO 250 CHILDRENIN DECEMBER 2022, ICO HOSTED A ONE WEEK STEAM WINTER BREAK CAMP WHICH SERVED 155 CHILDREN IN THE VILLAGE OF CRAIG AND PROVIDED CHRISTMAS GIFTS FOR THE CHILDREN WHO ATTENDED THE CAMP.
