ISLAMOPHOBIA CONFERENCE AND OTHER COMMUNITY ADVOCACY: ONE OF OUR CORE PROGRAMS IS A CONFERENCE THAT BRINGS COMMUNITY TOGETHER WITH THE GOAL TO RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT THE EVILS OF ISLAMOPHOBIA AND DISCUSS THE ACTIONS TO TACKLE THE ISSUE. ANOTHER GOAL IS TO CREAT A STRONG COMMUNITY AT THE LOCAL LEVEL BY FORMING A COLLABORATIVE SPACE FOR ALL. WELL KNOWN ACTIVISTS AND SCHOLARS ARE INVITED FROM ACROSS THE COUNTRY. LOCAL LEADERS AND ALLIES ATTEND.
ANNUAL RAMADAN DINNER: WE HAVE AN ANNUAL DINNER DURING THE MONTH OF RAMADAN THAT WE HOST TO HIGHLIGHT OUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS FROM THE PRIOR YEAR AND TO SHARE THE GOALS FOR THE CURRENT YEAR. DINNER IS OPEN TO COMMUNITY MEMBERS. THE EVENT IS ONE OF THE KEY EVENTS THAT BRINGS ABOUT 400-450 GUESTS IN THE AUDIENCE.
