NC REALTORS HOUSING FOUNDATION, A CHARITABLE FOUNDATION, PROVIDES HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY-BASED INITIATIVES INCLUDING DISASTER RELIEF.

WE PROVIDE GRANTS TO HOUSING ORGANIZATIONS THAT ASSIST FIRST-TIME HOMEBUYERS, THE HOMELESS, FAMILIES IN CRISIS, VICTIMS OF NATURAL DISASTERS AND MORE. IN 2021, WE PROVIDED EQUAL OPPORTUNITY HOUSING ASSISTANCE GRANTS TO TEN COMMUNITY BASED ORGANIZATIONS TOTALING 19,200 AND 20,000 TO INDIVIDUALS TO ASSIST WITH THE COST OF DOWNPAYMENT ON HOUSING PURCHASES. SINCE 2004, WE HAVE MADE MATCHING GRANTS TOTALING MORE THAN 429,657 TO MORE THAN 70 HOUSING ORGANIZATIONS ACROSS THE STATE.
WE PROVIDE EMERGENCY DISASTER RELIEF FOR VICTIMS WHO HAVE LOST THE USE OF THEIR HOME THROUGH NATURAL DISASTER. DISASTER RELIEF IS PROVIDED TO VICTIMS DISPLACED BY TORNADOES, FLOODS AND HURRICANES. IN 2021, WE CONTRIBUTED 160,000 TO THREE ORGANIZATIONS PROVIDING DISASTER RELIEF.
