THE PURPOSE OF THE FARGO AREA SPORTS ORGANIZATION IS TO PROMOTE THE SPORT OF BASEBALL AND FASTPITCH SOFTBALL TO INCREASE PARTICIPANT'S SKILLS, AND PROMOTE THE SPORTSMANSHIP BEHAVIOR AMONG THE PARTICIPANTS.

THE ORGANIZATION CHARGES REGISTRATION FEES FOR CHILDREN TO PARTICIPATE IN ORGANIZED BASEBALL AND FASTPITCH SOFTBALL WHERE SPORTSMANSHIP, TEAMWORK,AND RESPONSIBILITY IS ENCOURAGED BY ALL. THE ORGANIZATION HAS A SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM SETUP FOR THOSE THAT CANNOT AFFORD THESE FEES. THE EXPENSES INCURRED FOR THE PROGRAM MAINLY CONSIST OF UMPIRE AND COACHING FEES AND ALSO EQUIPMENT AND FACILITY UPKEEP COSTS.
