THE NORTH DAKOTA OPTOMETRIC ASSOCIATION EXISTS TO BENEFIT EVERY CITIZEN THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT AND DELIVERY OF COST EFFECTIVE, HIGH-QUALITY, STATE OF THE ART EYE CARE EQUALLY AVAILABLE TO EVERYONE; AND TO MAINTAIN HIGH TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS BY ALL OPTOMETRISTS IN ALL ENDEAVORS. THE EDUCATION ATTENDED MUST BE APPROVED BY THE NORTH DAKOTA STATE BOARD OF OPTOMETRY.THE ANNUAL CONGRESS HELD SEPTEMBER 30-OCTOBER 1, 2021 HAD 75 REGISTRANTS, WHO ATTENDED STATE APPROVED TRAINING COURSES FOR A TOTAL OF THIRTEEN (13) HOURS OF CONTINUING EDUCATION.CONTINUING EDUCATION ASSURES THAT DOCTORS OF OPTOMETRY, PRACTICING IN THE STATE OF ND, ARE WELL-INFORMED IN THE LATEST PRACTICES, TECHNOLOGY, PROCEDURES, PHARMACOLOGY, MANAGEMENT MODALITIES AND DEVELOPMENTS IN EYE CARE.
