SUMMER ORIENTATION PROGRAM - A MONTH-LONG RESIDENCY PROGRAM THAT BRINGS ADULTS WHO HAVE LOST OR ARE LOSING THEIR VISION INTO A CENTRAL LOCATION FOR INTENSIVE TRAINING IN ADAPTIVE SKILLS SUCH AS MOBILITY, HOUSEHOLD AND HYGIENE TASKS, COMPUTER, BRAILLE, AND MORE. THESE SKILLS ARE VITAL FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE BLIND OR LOW VISION TO REMAIN ACTIVE AND INDEPENDENT.
