MEN'S EMERGENCY SHELTER: THE MISSION OFFERS 300 BEDS HOUSED IN A CLEAN AND SUBSTANCE-FREE ENVIRONMENT WITH OVERFLOW CAPABILITIES AS NEEDED DURING EXTREME (HOT AND COLD) WEATHER CONDITIONS. THE MISSION OFFERS FOOD, SHELTER, WARM SHOWERS, AND BASIC MEDICAL CARE, ALONG WITH OPPORTUNITIES FOR CASE MANAGEMENT AND LIFE RECOVERY. THIS YEAR, OUR MEN'S MINISTRIES PROVIDED OUR GUESTS WITH MORE THAN 22,000 NIGHTS OF SHELTER; NEARLY 60,000 MEALS; PERFORMED 4,905 HEALTH SCREENINGS; AND DISTRIBUTED ALMOST 600 PIECES OF CLOTHING TO OUR GUESTS.
CHRISTIAN LIFE PROGRAM (CLP): THE MISSION OFFERS A 12- TO 18-MONTH RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM PROVIDING MEN DEDICATED TO RECOVERY WITH INDIVIDUALIZED CASE MANAGEMENT, COUNSELING, WORK THERAPY, ADULT EDUCATION (IN OUR LEARNING CENTER), CAREER DEVELOPMENT AND JOB PLACEMENT. THIS PROGRAM TAKES A HOLISTIC AND PERSONALIZED APPROACH TO REBUILDING LIVES PHYSICALLY, MENTALLY, EMOTIONALLY, SOCIALLY AND SPIRITUALLY. THERE WERE 117 PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS AND 15 GRADUATES. THE CLP PROVIDED OVER 21,000 BED NIGHTS, 50,000 MEALS, AND ALMOST 5,600 HOURS IN THE LEARNING CENTER.
FAMILY SHELTER: THE MISSION OFFERS FOOD, SHELTER AND ASSISTANCE FOR WOMEN AND FAMILIES. THE SHELTER HAS 140 BEDS IN 28 ROOMS EQUIPPED FOR SINGLE OR FAMILY OCCUPANCY, WITH OVERFLOW CAPABILITIES AS NEEDED DURING EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS. THE MISSION PROVIDES THEIR GUESTS WITH A SAFE PLACE TO STAY, NUTRITIOUS MEALS, SPIRITUAL COUNSEL, AND CASE MANAGEMENT TO ADDRESS AND RESOLVE MANY OF THE TRAUMATIC ISSUES THEY FACE. IN 2021 OUR FAMILY MINISTRIES PROVIDED OUR GUESTS WITH OVER 28,000 BED NIGHTS AND ALMOST 50,000 MEALS, ALMOST 200 HEALTH SCREENINGS, AND OVER 36,000 PIECES OF CLOTHING. THE MISSION ALSO PROVIDES TRANSITIONAL LIVING HOUSING FOR MEN, WOMEN AND FAMILIES.
