COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS, SUPPORTING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT WITHIN JEFFERSON COUNTY MISSOURI, PROVIDING SCHOLARSHIPS TO DESERVING YOUNG PEOPLE IN OUR SCHOOL DISTRICT AND SUPPORTING OTHER CHAIRTABLE EVENTS AND CAUSES IN OUR COMMUNITY.

SUPPORTED COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES, LOCAL CHARITIES AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF JEFFERSON COUNTY, MISSOURI AREA.THE CLUB PROVIDED ASSISTANCE TO NUMEROUS LOCAL CHARITIES. BECAUSE OF COVID PANDEMIC, THE CLUB WAS UNABLE TO PROVIDED A THANKSGIVING MEAL TO THE COMMUNITY AS IN PAST YEARS AND BUT THE CONTINUED PROVIDE NINETY FOUR FROZEN TURKEYS TO LOCAL FOOD PANTRIES. FOUR SCHOLARSHIP WERE GIVEN TO LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES AND A CONTRIBUTION TO THE ROTARY SCHOLARSHIP AT JEFFERSON COLLEGE FOR RETURNING STUDENTS TO FURTHER THEIR EDUCATIONAL GOALS. THIS YEAR, THE HIGH RIDGE ROTARY, MADE A CASH GRANTS TO THE THE PEACE PANTRY IN CEDAR HILL, LADIES OF CHARITY HIGH RIDGE AND FEED MY PEOPLE PANTRY IN HIGH RIDGE DURING THE PANDEMIC TO PURCHASE OF FOOD TO REPLENISH THEIR SUPPLIES. THE LARGEST SINGLE DONATION WAS TO THE ROTARY INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION FOR THE PAUL HARRIS INTERNATIONAL FUND AND ROTARY POLIO PLUS WORLD WIDE FUND FOR THE ERADICATION OF POLIO.
