ENDING GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE THE PROGRAM IS GENDER-LANGUAGE-CULTURAL-SEXUALITY-GENERATION-SPECIFIC THAT WORKS TO END VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN, CHILDREN, QUEER, GENDER-NON-CONFORMING, AND TRANSGENDER FOLKS IN THE BLACK AND SOUTHEAST ASIAN COMMUNITIES. SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT DIRECT SERVICES, SUPPORTIVE ADVOCACY AND COUNSELING, OUTREACH, CRISIS INTERVENTION, GROUP ACTIVITIES, COMMUNITY EDUCATION, LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, AND COMMUNITY ORGANIZING. THIS PROGRAM INCLUDES FREEDOM, INC.'S FISCAL SPONSOR, BLACK FEMINIST FUTURE WHICH BECAME A SEPARATE LEGAL ENTITY IN 2022.


COMMUNITY POWER BUILDING - FREEDOM, INC. OFFERS INTEGRATED, NONPARTISAN VOTER ENGAGEMENT SUCH AS CIVIC ENGAGEMENT, GET OUT THE VOTE EFFORTS, COMMUNITY EDUCATION, AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT. OTHER ACTIVITIES INCLUDE COMMUNITY CANVASSING AND PHONE BANKING EFFORTS, TABLING AT COMMUNITY EVENTS, LEADERSHIP RETREATS, AND TRAININGS.
