THE OAKLAND PUBLIC EDUCATION FUND ("THE ED FUND") SECURES AND MANAGES RESOURCES FOR SCHOOLS WHILE HELPING THOSE SCHOOLS DEVELOP THEIR OWN CAPACITY TO CREATE THE BEST LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS FOR THEIR STUDENTS. THE ED FUND WORKS WITH SCHOOLS THAT STRIVE TO BE RESULTS ORIENTED, TO DEVELOP ENTREPRENEURIAL LEADERSHIP, AND TO CULTIVATE COLLABORATION AND FAMILY LEADERSHIP, AND TO FOCUS ON STUDENT PERSONALIZATION AND INNOVATIVE CURRICULUM. THE ED FUND IS ALSO A FISCAL SPONSOR FOR A RANGE OF PROJECTS WITH THE OAKLAND PUBLIC SCHOOLS, OAKLAND UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT, AND EDUCATION-FOCUSED PROJECTS.
