THE YOUNG LIVING FOUNDATION SUPPORTED NUMEROUS COMMUNITIES IMPACTED BY DISASTERS WITH ITS KEY FOCUS ON PROVIDING SUSTAINABLE RELIEF.
THE YOUNG LIVING FOUNDATION PARTNERS WITH OTHER NONPROFITS TO EMPOWER THE LIVES OF UNDERSERVED INDIVIDUALS AND COMMUNITIES THROUGHOUT THE WORLD. FUNDS IN THIS CATEGORY WERE USED TO SUPPORT ORGANIZATIONS PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES, FIGHTING HUMAN TRAFFICKING, MALARIA, AND FOOT- RELATED DISEASES. THE FOUNDATION ALSO USED FUNDS TO RUN ITS OWN CHARITABLE PROJECT IN NEPAL FOCUSED ON REBUILDING AND RESTORING SCHOOLS IMPACTED BY THE 2015 EARTHQUAKES.
THE YOUNG LIVING FOUNDATION FULLY FUNDS AND OPERATES A SCHOOL LOCATED IN CHONGON, ECUADOR, IN A RURAL AREA OUTSIDE OF GUAYAQUIL. THE SCHOOL PROVIDES EDUCATION TO APPROXIMATELY 343 STUDENTS IN GRADES PRE-K THROUGH THE 12TH GRADE. FUNDING PROVIDES EVERYTHING FROM SCHOOL SUPPLIES AND COMPUTERS TO EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES AND TEACHER'S SALARIES.
THE FOUNDATION ORGANIZES SERVICE TRIPS TO CAMBODIA, UGANDA, ECUADOR, NEPAL. PARTICIPANTS TRAVELED TO THESE COUNTRIES AND ASSISTED CHARITIES THE FOUNDATION HAS SPONSORED IN THESE COUNTRIES.
