WE HONOR HIS LEGACY BY INTRODUCING HIS TEACHINGS TO YOUNGER GENERATIONS, DEVELOPING NEW DEMING LEADERS, AND ENSURING THE TRANSITION OF KNOWLEDGE FROM DR. DEMING'S TRUSTED COLLEAGUES. THROUGH LIVE SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS, THE DEMINGNEXT ONLINE LEARNING EXPERIENCE, AND OTHER PROGRAMS WE INCREASE THE ADOPTION OF THE DEMING SYSTEM OF PROFOUND KNOWLEDGE IN OUR SCHOOLS AND IN SMALL TO MID-SIZED BUSINESSES AND ORGANIZATIONS. IN 2021, THE INSTITUTE REACHED MORE NEW LEARNERS, AND ENGAGED CURRENT DEMING PRACTITIONERS IN NEW PROGRAMS. THE INSTITUTE STRENGTHENED OUR INFRASTRUCTURE AND EXPANDED OUR CAPACITY TO ACHIEVE OUR AIM OF ENRICHING SOCIETY THROUGH THE DEMING PHILOSOPHY.2021 ACCOMPLISHMENTS: - IN 2021 THE INSTITUTE HIRED A NEW LEARNING SYSTEMS SPECIALIST TO GUIDE IMPLEMENTATION, MANAGEMENT AND ONGOING SUPPORT FOR OUR NEW DEMINGNEXT ONLINE LEARNING PLATFORM. - DEMINGNEXT, A NEW ONLINE LEARNING PLATFORM, WAS IN ITS THIRD YEAR OF PRODUCTION, WITH THE HELP OF MORE THAN 100 VOLUNTEERS WHO SERVED AS SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTS, TESTERS, AND INTERVIEWEES. THE INSTITUTE PREPARED DEMINGNEXT FOR A PUBLIC LAUNCH IN SPRING 2022.- THE INSTITUTE BUILT PARTNERSHIPS WITH SELECT ORGANIZATIONS IN AFRICA AND ASIA TO PROMOTE DEMING TEACHINGS IN THOSE REGIONS THROUGH DEMINGNEXT. - THE INSTITUTE'S IN-PERSON 9-HOUR WORKSHOP WAS REVAMPED INTO A 3-WEEK VIRTUAL WORKSHOP AND WAS DELIVERED TWICE IN 2021, FOR A TOTAL OF 76 LEARNERS.- DEMING INSTITUTE FREE LEARNING RESOURCES, INCLUDING OUR WEBSITE, PODCASTS, BLOGS AND VIDEOS WERE VIEWED MORE THAN 280,000 TIMES.- THE INSTITUTE HIRED A NEW SENIOR DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER TO OVERSEE ANNUAL GIVING CAMPAIGNS AND MANAGE ORGANIZATIONAL COMMUNICATIONS, INCLUDING SOCIAL MEDIA. - A NEW OCTOBER FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN RAISED MORE THAN $10,000 FOR THE DEMING INSTITUTE SCHOLARSHIP FUND. - MORE THAN 2,000 INDIVIDUALS FROM THE US AND AROUND THE WORLD JOINED THE DEMING INSTITUTE COMMUNITY THROUGH EMAIL AND SOCIAL MEDIA.
