TO PROMOTE THE SAFETY OF MISSOURI'S YOUTH THROUGH EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND TO ADVANCE THE QUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM OF LAW ENFORCEMENT BY SUPPORTING HIGHER STANDARDS AND OFFERING ADVANCED OFFICER TRAINING.

THE FOUNDATION RECEIVED HOMELAND SECURITY GRANTS FOR PREVENTION/PLANNING TRAINING.


EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS TO PROMOTE SAFETY OF MISSOURI'S YOUTH AND THE PERSONNEL, BUILDING AND OFFICE EXPESNES ARE ALLOCATED TO PROGRAM SERVICES IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN THE TRAINNG AND TESTING FACILITIES HOUSED IN THE MAIN BUILDING AND UTILIZE THE USE OF EMPLOYEES FOR PROGRAM SERVICE ACTIVITIES.


THE FOUNDATION HOLDS SEVERAL DIFFERENT TRAINING SESSIONS, COMMAND SCHOOLS, AND CERTIFICATION PROGRAMS TO KEEP LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS UP-TO-DATE ON CURRENT ISSUES AND REGULATIONS. THE FOUNDATION ALSO OFFERS TRAINING FOR THE D.A.R.E. PROGRAM AND SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER PROGRAM.


SEVERAL CONFERENCES ARE HELD ANNUALLY BY THE FOUNDATION. THE CONFERENCES HELD ARE RELATED TO TRAINING PROGRAMS AND CURRENT ISSUES RELATED TO LAW ENFORCEMENT.
