IN FURTHERING ITS PURPOSE OF COMBATING URBAN BLIGHT AND DECAY, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND STABILIZATION OF NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCKS; THE CORPORATION HAS ACQUIRED RENTAL PROPERTY FOR RENEWAL AND RENTAL OPERATION.
THE CORPORATION HAS ACQUIRED PROBLEM PROPERTIES WHICH HAVE BEEN RESOLD TO OWNER OCCUPANTS FOR REHAB UNDER FINANCING ARRANGEMENTS WITH DEBT FORGIVENESS FOR OWNER OCCUPANCY. THE CORPORATION HAS ENCOURAGED NEW OWNER ACQUISITION & OCCUPANCY OF REHABBED SHINGLE FAMILY HOMES BY OFFERING SMALL PURCHASE GRANTS/LOANS THAT REQUIRE A MINIMUM OF YEARS OF OWNER OCCUPANCY FOR DEBT FORGIVENESS.
