ALCOHOL AND DRUG ABUSE PROGRAMS - ADA PROGRAMS ARE FUNDED THROUGH THE DIVISION OF ALCOHOL AND DRUG ABUSE, CLAY/PLATTE/RAY MENTAL HEALTH BOARD, AND THE COMBAT COMMISSION. THEY INCLUDE INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT SERVICES AND COMMUNITY SUPPORT SERVICES FOR ADULT MALE AND FEMALE CLIENTS AND COMPREHENSIVE SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND REHABILITATION PROGRAMS. MEDICAL CLIENTS ARE SERVED IN ADDITION TO THOSE FUNDED DIRECTLY THROUGH THE STATE OF MISSOURI. THE ADA PROGRAMS ALSO INCLUDE THE ORGANIZATIONS MODIFIED MEDICAL DETOXIFICATION SERVICES IN KANSAS CITY. CLIENTS SERVED ARE REFERRED THROUGH PROBATION, PAROLE DEPARTMENTS, SOCIAL SERVICE AGENCIES IN THE COMMUNITY AND INITIATED BY THE CLIENT.
