MSBA HELPS PUBLIC SCHOOLS SUCCEED THROUGH LEADERSHIP, SCHOOL BOARD TRAINING AND ADVOCACY. MSBA ALSO PROVIDES SERVICES AND PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO HELP PUBLIC SCHOOLS MAKE THE MOST EFFECTIVE AND EFFICIENT USE OF THEIR RESOURCES.

MEMBER SERVICES - MSBA'S MEMBER SERVICES SUPPORT BOARDS OF EDUCATION THROUGHOUT MISSOURI IN VARIOUS WAYS AND ENABLE THEM TO CARRY OUT THEIR RESPONSIBLITIES AS THE LOCALLY ELECTED LEADERS OF THEIR SCHOOL DISTRICTS. MEMBER SERVICES INCLUDE LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS TO IMPROVE THE GOVERNING SKILLS OF SCHOOL BOARD MEMBERS AS WELL AS PROVIDING GUIDANCE ON POLICY ISSUES FACING LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICTS. OTHER SERVICES ARE DESIGNED TO SAVE SCHOOL DISTRICTS MONEY OR GENERATE ADDITIONAL REVENUE IN ORDER TO PUT MAXIMUM RESOURCES IN THE CLASSROOM.
MEDICAID CONSORTIUM - MSBA ESTABLISHED THE MEDICAID CONSORTIUM TO ASSIST SCHOOL DISTRICTS WITH THE COMPLICATED PAPERWORK ASSOCIATED WITH CLAIMING AND ENSURE THAT THE CLAIMING IS SUBMITTED.
SAFE SCHOOLS PROGRAM - MSBA'S CENTER FOR EDUCATION SAFETY ESTABLISHED AND DELIVERED SAFE SCHOOL PROGRAMS ADDRESSING ACTIVE SHOOTER RESPONSE TRAINING AND SCHOOL SAFETY MEASURES.
