HOME BUILDING DURING FY23, THE ORGANIZATION HELD BELOW-MARKET-INTEREST MORTGAGES FOR PURCHASES OF HOMES BUILD BY HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF WEBER & DAVIS COUNTIES. IN ADDITION, DURING THE YEAR THE ORGANIZATION WAS ACQUIRED BY HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF NORTHERN UTAH, ANOTHER HABITAT FOR HUMANITY AFFILIATE. THE ORGNAIZATION DONATED ASSETS TO HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF NORTHERN UTAH IN FURTHERANCE OF ITS MISSION.
DURING FY23, THE ORGANIZATION OPERATED A RESTORE WHICH KEPT HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF POUNDS OF MATERIALS OUT OF THE LANDFILLS, WHILE PROVIDING AFFORDABLE FURNITURE, APPLIANCES, AND BUILDING SUPPLIES TO OUR COMMUNITIES. THE STORE PARTNERED WITH VOLUNTEERS FROM LOCAL COMMUNITIES, WEBER STATE UNIVERSITY, HILL AIR FORCE BASE, HIGH SCHOOLS, AND BUSINESSES IN OPERATING THE STORES AND PICKING UP DONATIONS FROM BUSINESSES AND RESIDENCES.
