HOMES FOR THE HOLIDAYS TRANSFORMS THE LIVES OF SINGLE-PARENT FAMILITES BY REWARDING THE HARD WORK OF INDIVIDUALS WHO ACTIVELY DEMONSTRATE A COMMITMENT OT ACHIEVE FIANANCIAL INDEPENDENCE AND STABILITY THROUGH OWNING A HOME FOR THE FIRST TIME. THE PROGRAM PROVIDES DOWNPAYMENT ASSISTANCE FOR PURCHASING A HOME AND FURNISHING NEEDED TO EASE THE EXPENSE OF OCCUPYING THE NEW HOME.
COUNT ON YOUR FUTURE PROGRAM PROMOTES FINANCIAL EMPOWERMENT BY PROVIDING RESIDENTS OF METRO ATLANTA WITH TOOLS AND RESOURCES TO HELP THEM WITH THEIR FINANCIAL FUTURES. PARTICIPANTS WHO COMPLETE THE FREE 'COUNT ON YOUR FUTURE' SPRING OR FALL WORKSHOPS WILL RECEIVE UP TO 500 IN MATCHING FUNDS TOWARD OPENING AND SUSTAINING AN INVESTMENT ACCOUNT, NO OBLIGATION FINANCIAL ANALYSIS, A DEBT RECOVERY PLAN, AND ARE PAIRED WITH A FINANCIAL REPRESENTATIVE FOR UP TO TWO YEARS. IN 2019, WE SERVED 61 PARTICIPANTS THROUGH OUR COYF PROGRAM
THE HEARTS FOR COMMUNITY SERVICE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM PROVIDES FINANCIAL MERIT-BASED AWARDS (SCHOLARSHIPS) TO SUPPORT STUDENTS WHO ARE ACTIVE VOLUNTEERS IN THEIR COMMUNITY AND ARE ATTENDING - OR SOON TO BE ATTENDING - A POST-SECONDARY INSTITUTION.
THE SCULPT PROGRAM PROVIDES ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR SELF-RELIANCE FOR THOSE PARTICIPATING IN THE OTHER PROGRAMS OF THE ORGANIZATION.
