THE FRIENDS OF THE UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD HELD SEVERAL EVENTS AS WELL AS OBTAINING OTHER SOURCES OF CONTRIBUTIONS (SUCH AS GRANTS AND OPERATION OF A GIFT SHOP)FOR THE FINANCIAL SUPPORT OF THE MUSUEM. ADDITIONALLY, THEY HELPED SUPPORT THE MUSEUM BY PROVIDING VOLUNTEERS AND EDUCATION OUTREACH TO THE COMMUNITY ABOUT THE RAILROAD HISTORY.
TO BUILD AND MAINTAIN EXHIBITS TO DISPLAY THE COLLECTIONS OF THE MUSEUM.
