THE VILLAGE, LTD. PARTNERS WITH CLARKE COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT TO PROVIDE SPACE AND PERSONNEL FOR ACCREDITED PRESCHOOL CLASSES. PROVIDING THE OPPORTUNITY FOR THE SCHOOL DISTRICT TO LOCATE THE PRESCHOOL WITHIN THE VILLAGE EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION CENTER ALLOWS COLLABORATION, PLANNING AND A SEAMLESS TRANSITION FROM THE TIME A CHILD ENTERS THE CENTER AS AN INFANT UNTIL BEGINNING KINDERGARTEN.
THE VILLAGE, LTD. OPERATES THE VILLAGE EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION CENTER. THE CENTER IS OPEN FIVE DAYS A WEEK, 52 WEEKS PER YEAR,PROVIDING CHILDCARE FROM 6AM UNTIL 6PM. HUNDREDS OF INFANTS AND TODDLERS WERE PROVIDED SUPERVISION, CARE, AND AGE-APPROPRIATE EDUCATION DURING THESE HOURS. IN ADDITION, THE CENTER PROVIDED BEFORE AND AFTER-SCHOOL CARE, INCLUDING TRANSPORTATION, AS WELL AS SUMMER BREAK CARE, FOR SCHOOL-AGE CHILDREN. THE CENTER IS THE MAIN SOURCE OF CHILD-CARE FOR LOW INCOME FAMILIES IN CLARKE COUNTY,IOWA, AND SURROUNDING AREAS.
