ORGANIZED SALES - THE ADSBS HOSTS NATIONAL SALES FOR MEMBERS TO PROMOTE AND MARKET THEIR SHEEP AT A PREMIUM TO BUYERS ACROSS THE U.S. AND INTERNATIONALLY. IN 2021 ADSBS HOSTED THREE SALES IN DIFFERENT STATES THAT MARKETED OVER 1,000 SHEEP FOR 125 MEMBERS.
YOUTH PROGRAM - IN 2021 THE ADSBS HAD 130 YOUTH MEMBERS UNDER THE AGE OF 21. IN SUPPORT OF THE YOUTH PROGRAM ADSBS DEDICATES A LARGE PORTION OF FUNDS DEDICATED TO SPONSORING YOUTH EDUCATIONAL EVENTS, YOUTH SHOW, AND PRIZES FOR COMPETITIONS.
DORPER PUBLICATIONS - IN 2021 ADSBS DISTRIBUTED TWO MAJOR PUBLICATIONS. THE DORPER JOURNAL IS A BIENNIAL PUBLICATION WITH BREED AND MEMBER INFORMATION THAT IS DISTRIBUTED TO EVENTS WITHIN THE U.S. SHEEP AND LAMB INDUSTRY. OVER 6,000 ISSUES WERE PRINTED AND DISTRIBUTED. THE DORPER REPORT IS A QUARTERLY PUBLICATION WITH EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES AND UPDATES FOR MEMBERS ON ADSBS OFFICIAL BUSINESS.
